Olivia Rodrigo has partnered with LEGO to launch a new collection of sets, making her the first musician to receive multiple dedicated LEGO sets. This collaboration, titled “LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo,” features five unique sets inspired by Rodrigo’s most beloved songs, iconic looks, and personal symbols. The collection pays tribute to her three studio albums: Sour, Guts, and her latest, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
The LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo collection aims to capture the distinct emotion and energy that has defined the 23-year-old singer-songwriter as a prominent artist of her generation. According to a release announcing the line, the sets incorporate custom detailing inspired by her most memorable onstage moments and include subtle nods to her Filipino heritage. Each of the five new minifigures celebrates her iconic performances, featuring her instantly recognizable expressions and favorite looks, with dual facial expressions to represent the various facets of Rodrigo’s personality.
Olivia Rodrigo herself expressed her excitement about the collaboration, stating, “I’ve always loved hiding little details and meanings in my music and videos, so working with the LEGO team to bring something that fans can actually build and explore together has been so exciting.” She emphasized the presence of numerous “Easter eggs” and personal touches within the sets, including references to songs, memories, outfits, and significant moments from her career.
Rodrigo was actively involved in the design process, meticulously refining each element to ensure the collection resonated with her world. Amy Corbett, LEGO Senior Design Manager and Product Lead, highlighted Rodrigo’s desire for the collection to be something “fans could explore over time,” ensuring every detail, from outfits and minifigure expressions to the smallest symbols, reflected moments from her life and energy, inviting discovery.
Designed for ages 9-14, the sets collectively tell a rich narrative of Rodrigo’s career, spanning from grand arena performances and heartfelt love songs to handwritten lyrics, vintage aesthetics, and her signature rock-and-roll edge. The collection includes:
- Olivia Rodrigo Vinyl: A 360-piece set that chronicles her musical journey, drawing inspiration from her trio of albums and featuring hidden career references.
- Flower Bouquet: A 400-piece set, marking the first personalized LEGO Botanicals set for a partner, which blooms with symbolic flowers, hidden meanings, and surprises inspired by her songwriting. It centers on a striking purple flower crafted from electric guitars and includes floral nods to her Filipino heritage.
- Concert Moon: A 670-piece set that recreates a viral concert scene where Rodrigo soars above the crowd on a giant moon.
- Secret Storage: A substantial 1,085-piece set that gathers some of her most recognizable symbols, such as a bright red guitar from her 2025 festival tour, a bold red megaphone from her Guts tour, and a notebook inspired by the handwritten lyrics books featured on the Sour tour.
- Dual Guitar: A 1,228-piece set featuring a split acoustic and electric guitar design that celebrates the two sides of her artistry. This set opens to reveal hidden stage scenes, backstage details, secret storage compartments, and numerous hidden references for fans to uncover.
Julia Goldin, the LEGO Group’s Chief Product and Marketing Officer, underscored the collection’s goal: “With this collection, we wanted to celebrate the passion Olivia brings to every lyric, every hidden clue and every album, while giving fans a meaningful way to connect with her. This collaboration is about more than recreating moments – it’s about inspiring fans to build, explore and express themselves through storytelling and creative building.” The full collection will be available globally starting August 1st at LEGO.com, LEGO stores, and select global retailers.
