Oga Obinna Faces Sharp Criticism Over Complaints on Churches Not Allowing Him to Shoot His Video

on a gospel song, Hakuna Wa Kufanana, which he hoped to release a music video.

Via his TikTok page, Obinna lamented how different churches refused to entertain his idea of shooting the video at their sanctuaries yet it was a gospel song.

In his words:

"I am about to vent. I am boiling with anger right now. I am recceing, looking for a location to shoot the music video. The concept of the music video is I need to shoot in a church. I have been going to different churches, so has the director and this is the reason why I do not go to church. Church has a lot of pretenders. It's a gospel song, it is a song that is supposed to give praise."

He also claimed that most churches are petty, and they kept asking him why he wanted to shoot the videos in their churches, even though he was not a member.

"I'm like it is a gospel song, even if you are charging just say how much you are charging for the space, then we know. What type of BS? What's happening with the churches? It's the house of God, the song we are doing is a gospel song. Like if it is business, do it as a business," he further said.
Oga Obinna revealed how angry he was that the church refused his requests to shoot.

Elsewhere, Obinna also faced sharp backlash after inviting Isaac Otesa on his show and lecturing him.

At the time, Otesa had come out to say that Manzi wa Kibera had lied to him that she will help him get influencing gigs only to leave him stranded.

Obinna talked down on Otesa, questioned if he had any talent other than being tall, and subtly insinuated that he needed to return to what he was doing in the village.
