Kelvin Kamau Wandina has been missing since Sunday, June 22, leaving his family and friends in fear.

He vanished under mysterious circumstances shortly after attending a church service in a nearby church.

Speaking to , family member Dennis Wambugu said the boy had just left the church when he disappeared.

"He left my parents in church. The church is just opposite our home. He had come home on Friday, June 20, for midterm," he said painfully.

The Form Four student at Kianyaga Boys High School has not been seen since stepping out of the church.

His disappearance has already been reported to the police, but there has been no further information, according to Wambugu.

"We reported the matter on Monday, June 23. Please share the information widely," he pleaded.

In a post shared by Karangu Muraya, Kamau is described as more than just a son and student—he is a bright light that shines when he is with his family.

The post includes a photo of Kamau in his high school uniform.

"His loved ones are living every minute in pain, fear, and deep distress. His mother is barely holding on. His father is searching endlessly. The entire family is broken, waiting for a call, a knock on the door—any sign that their boy is safe.
"On behalf of the family, I am pleading with whoever may be holding Kelvin or anyone with information—please release him and let him return to those who love him," the post reads.

Social media users flooded the comment section with emotional messages, praying for Kamau's safe return:
