NPP to issue final warning to Abronye, Owusu-Bempah over indiscipline - General Secretary

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has disclosed that the party will issue a final warning to Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, and Deputy Communications Officer, Ernest Owusu- Bempah, over what he described as acts of indiscipline.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on and monitored by GhanaWeb, on Friday, June 20, 2025, Justin Kodua revealed that a petition concerning their conduct has been submitted to the party's National Executive Council (NEC).

“The National Council has received petitions against Chairman Abronye and Ernest Owusu Bempah. There were discussions on that, and the First Vice Chairperson has directed that the matter be dealt with thoroughly. Extensive deliberations with the two will be held by Chairman Buttey and he will issue a final warning. In the event of any future misconduct, appropriate action will be taken.

“There will be a final warning to Abronye and Owusu Bempah over their indiscipline. Moving forward, the party will not tolerate such behaviour, even from leaders. Sanctions will be applied where necessary. If you hold a position in the party, your utterances carry weight (sic) So, you must be careful about the thing you say in public," he cautioned.
