Christopher Nolan's epic film, "The Odyssey," starring Matt Damon as the Greek king Odysseus, has achieved a monumental milestone by surpassing $1 billion in global ticket sales at an astonishing pace. "The Odyssey" is projected to soon become Nolan's highest-grossing release of all time, poised to eclipse the long-held records set by "The Dark Knight Rises" ($1.08 billion) and 2009's "The Dark Knight" ($1.008 billion).
