Nitiwul Declares 2028 Elections 'Do-or-Die' for NPP, Backs Bawumia

Former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul has emphatically stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has already made a definitive decision regarding its leader for the crucial 2028 elections. Speaking on Joy News’ PM Express, the Bimbilla MP asserted that the party cannot afford to introduce or market a new face to the Ghanaian electorate, given the limited time and inherent risks associated with an unproven candidate. Nitiwul underlined the high stakes for the NPP, warning that another defeat in 2028 would be catastrophic for the party's future.
