During an engaging live chat with streamer Enzo, Odumodublvck articulated that numerous artists intentionally reduce their stated ages. This practice, he explained, is often employed as a strategic move to appear more appealing and marketable to both record labels and international brands.

According to the 32-year-old artist, these influential companies and organizations typically exhibit a strong preference for collaborating with younger artists, who are perceived to fit a particular desired image or demographic. This industry bias creates significant pressure on musicians, compelling them to alter their birth years to enhance their chances of securing crucial partnership deals and investments. Odumodublvck further elaborated that a substantial number of investors in the music industry are hesitant to channel funds into artists they perceive as older, thereby exacerbating the trend of age manipulation.
