The newly appointed Executive Director of the Nigerian Integrated Water Resources Management Commission (NIWRMC), Dr. Abdulmumini Mohammed Aminu-Zaria, has pledged to deliver on his mandate and contribute meaningfully to service delivery under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a statement issued on Friday, Dr. Aminu-Zaria, a seasoned human resources expert with over 30 years of top-level experience in the oil and gas industry, reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the objectives of the Commission while supporting President Tinubu’s reform drive and Kaduna Governor Uba Sani’s vision in Kaduna State.

Dr. Aminu-Zaria, who retired from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) in March, is a political associate of Governor Uba Sani.

He attributed his appointment to the governor’s loyalty to President Tinubu and his effort to elevate competent individuals from Kaduna State into positions where they can contribute to national development.
The statement also commended President Tinubu for his vision and dedication to building a legacy of good governance, describing his economic reforms as bold steps that are beginning to yield positive results.

Dr. Aminu-Zaria further praised Governor Uba Sani for his inclusive leadership style, which he said has restored peace and stability in Kaduna State. He recalled that during a recent state visit in June, President Tinubu lauded the governor for his achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, and transportation, including the commissioning of a Skills and Vocational Centre, a 300-bed Specialist Hospital, and 100 CNG-powered buses.
