Mysterious Ebo Noah Prophecy Sparks Panic and Ghanaian Parliamentary Inquiry

Ebo Noah, a content creator, became a figure of widespread debate and public scrutiny after his high-profile doomsday prophecy failed to materialize. Ebo had claimed that a global flood would commence on December 25, 2025, prompting him to construct "arks" to house believers. However, when the predicted date passed without any such disaster, his widely shared predictions drew significant public attention and frustration.
The saga unfolded with Ebo Noah asserting he had received a revelation that a devastating flood would sweep across the earth. In response, he embarked on building these "arks" to shelter those who would heed his message. As the speculated date of December 25 approached, Ebo's videos of his ark project spread rapidly, turning him into a trending topic not only in Ghana but also internationally, with American blogs and news tabloids closely following the story. The gravity of his claims led to visible panic and preparations, with reports of crowds arriving with their personal effects, preparing for the predicted apocalypse, and people from Benin even traveling in large numbers to secure a place on the ark.
A few days prior to the supposed December 25 flood, Ebo Noah was seen in a video reportedly interceding for Ghana and the world. Following this, he released a new message stating that the Lord had answered his prayers and that the flood would, in fact, not occur. Unfortunately, this updated message did not reach the wider public as effectively as his initial, viral flood warning. Post-Christmas, with no flood having transpired, Ebo addressed the public again, this time announcing that the disaster had been "postponed" to allow for the building of more arks, citing a renewed vision and intercession. He urged people to resume their normal lives, despite the initial alarm his prophecy had caused.
The aftermath of the failed prophecy generated considerable public frustration and intensified calls for accountability. Hon. Mohammed Haruna, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for Asunafo North, was among the voices in Ghana publicly debating the viral saga. Many are now demanding that Ebo Noah face legal scrutiny for making misleading prophetic claims that instilled fear and panic among the public. The real-world impact was evident in situations such as an old man from Liberia, reportedly in his late 50s or early 60s, who was found stranded in Ghana, having traveled with the aim of entering the non-existent ark as a believer, only to be left without a refuge when the prophecy failed.
This sequence of events highlights the significant social and psychological impact of such widespread prophetic claims, leading to fear, confusion, and real-life disruptions for those who believed. The public discourse now centers on the ethical implications and potential legal ramifications for individuals whose widely disseminated predictions cause alarm and mislead large audiences.
