Despite the recent cancellation of Bluesfest 2026, two prominent acts, The Wailers and The Pogues, have officially confirmed their intentions to proceed with their Australian tours. They join previously announced Sublime and Counting Crows in reassuring fans that their scheduled performances will continue, navigating the challenges posed by the Easter festival's collapse.
The Wailers have unveiled a revised itinerary of intimate East Coast dates, now presented by Noisy Group. These shows will run throughout the Easter weekend, with stops in Gosford, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, and Brunswick Heads. Notably, a previously announced Melbourne performance has been removed from their schedule. This 2026 tour holds special significance as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of Bob Marley's seminal 1976 album, Rastaman Vibration.
