Music Industry Scandal: Chocolate City Accuses Odumodublvck of Assault

Chocolate City Music Management has issued a strong statement accusing Nigerian rapper Tochukwu "Odumodublvck" Ojogwu of a disturbing and escalating pattern of violence, harassment, and intimidation against its staff members and artists. The record label stated that these assaults and threats are well-documented and that this unacceptable behavior cannot be allowed to continue.

According to the record label, a recent alleged incident occurred on Monday in the backstage area of the Rhythm Unplugged concert. Odumodublvck is accused of assaulting Feyi Ajayi, one of Chocolate City's staff members. Multiple eyewitnesses reported that Tochukwu approached Mr. Ajayi, made threatening statements against Chocolate City and its leadership, and then headbutted him without provocation. When an artist's bodyguard intervened, Odumodublvck and his associates allegedly poured drinks on Mr. Ajayi while shouting expletives about the record label and its executives. Mr. Ajayi was hospitalized and is currently receiving treatment for his injuries, which required immediate medical attention.

Chocolate City Music Management emphasized that this incident is part of a "sustained pattern of harassment, stalking, and physical violence" that poses a serious threat to the safety of its entire team. The label further alleged that Odumodublvck has stalked its artists across state lines and international borders, physically assaulted them, and issued threats of deadly violence. This includes allegations of targeting women within the organization.

The accusations extend to other artists and executives. The label claimed that Odumodublvck attacked artist Blaqbonez at Landmark Beach, where he forcefully seized the rapper's eyeglasses and subsequently wore them himself instead of returning them. Throughout 2024-2025, Tochukwu allegedly sent over 100 threatening messages to Blaqbonez via social media and personal phone numbers, escalating to calls and direct messages to Chocolate City executives. These threats reportedly extended to their family members and anyone associated with them. Odumodublvck is also accused of publicly attacking other artists, spreading false narratives to defame Blaqbonez's character, damaging Chocolate City's reputation, and threatening industry colleagues who support Blaqbonez.

Further incidents cited include a confrontation in March 2025, where Odumodublvck allegedly followed Blaqbonez to a hotel in Uyo, cornering him in an elevator with at least five male associates, attempting an assault, and issuing threats while claiming access to firearms. The rapper is also accused of harassing Blaqbonez's manager, Morin Oluwatobi, physically obstructing her professional duties, and subjecting her to verbal abuse.

Other alleged attacks include an incident in March 2025 where Odumodublvck instructed his associates to attack Major AJ, another Chocolate City artist, at a public eatery due to his association with Blaqbonez. In September 2025, despite security presence at a fashion show in England, Odumodublvck reportedly accosted Blaqbonez, attempted to strike him before being intercepted, and then spat at his manager, Morin. Additionally, in October 2025, he allegedly engaged in sustained cyberbullying, threats, and intimidation online against Osagie Onobun, a Chocolate City executive, solely because of his association with Blaqbonez.

Chocolate City Music Management has vowed to pursue legal action against Odumodublvck, confirming that it has formally notified the relevant authorities. The label stated that its team's safety is its highest priority and that it will use all available legal means to ensure it, emphasizing its duty to protect its people. As of press time, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to these allegations on his social media platforms or through any official statement.
