The new Board, chaired by Mr Mike Kofi Afflu, includes the following members;
Dr Forson underscored the critical role of the FIC in safeguarding Ghana’s financial system, especially amid increasing threats posed by money laundering, terrorism financing, and other sophisticated financial crimes.
He called on the Board to support the Centre in strengthening its institutional capacity and deepen collaboration with both local and international partners.
The FIC, Ghana’s national agency responsible for receiving and analysing financial intelligence related to suspicious transactions, is seen as pivotal in enhancing financial transparency and accountability.
