Reality television personality Lisa Rinna has publicly addressed a report claiming she was drugged at “The Traitors” Season 4 premiere party in January. Appearing on “Good Day New York,” Rinna informed hosts Jerry O’Connell and Rosanna Scotto that toxicology tests revealed the presence of fentanyl and amphetamines in her system following the event, which took place on January 8th at The Abbey in West Hollywood. TMZ was the first to break the story, reporting Rinna’s suspicion of having been roofied at the party.

According to TMZ, Rinna’s “Traitors” co-star Colton Underwood grew concerned after observing her to be “completely inebriated” despite her minimal alcohol consumption. Underwood subsequently alerted Rinna’s team to his worries. Rinna recounted leaving the party and credited her husband, Harry Hamlin, for his assistance. When pressed by the hosts about her certainty of being roofied, Rinna unequivocally stated, “Yes, I was. I had fentanyl in my system.”

Expressing their shock, the hosts heard Rinna further elaborate on the post-party test results: “I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines and other things. But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.” Rinna, known for her roles in “Days of Our Lives,” “Melrose Place,” and various reality shows including “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Dancing With the Stars,” was selected as a traitor on the Peacock series “The Traitors” Season 4. During her time on the show, she engaged in rivalries with co-star Colton Underwood and fellow traitor Rob Rausch.

Rinna also highlighted a broader concern regarding alleged druggings at The Abbey, stating, “So many people that I know have had this happen at the Abbey. All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years. And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”

In response to inquiries from Variety, The Abbey released an official statement. They confirmed that Lisa Rinna’s team had shared their concerns post-visit, prompting an immediate and thorough internal review. The establishment noted that their security team had assisted Rinna and safely escorted her out of the venue when she became unwell. The Abbey’s review included examining all available surveillance footage from the relevant period and interviewing staff on duty. Their findings indicated “no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behavior toward her.” The Abbey stated they cannot comment on medical findings or speculate on toxicology results, but emphasized their commitment to guest safety. They reiterated that drink tampering is a crime and encouraged any guest believing their drink has been compromised to report it promptly to management or law enforcement. The Abbey concluded by affirming its extensive surveillance coverage, trained security personnel, and ongoing drink-safety measures as part of its highest priority: guest safety.
