Lewis Capaldi's Epic Return: Superstar Announces Monumental 2026 UK Outdoor Shows!

Lewis Capaldi is set to headline two major outdoor concerts in the United Kingdom next summer, marking a significant return for the Scottish singer-songwriter. The first event, Roundhay Festival, organized by AEG Presents, will see Capaldi as the headliner for its inaugural staging on July 4, 2026. A week later, on July 11, he will top the bill at BST Hyde Park in London, joining the ranks of headliners like Garth Brooks.
Tickets for both highly anticipated shows will become available for purchase this Friday, September 19, at 9 a.m. BST, through the respective festival's official websites. Further announcements regarding additional performers for both events are expected in due course. BST Hyde Park is an annual fixture in central London, consistently drawing a host of globally renowned artists, with past performers at the 2025 event including Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young, and Stevie Wonder.
Capaldi's upcoming performances follow his recent resurgence in the music scene. The 28-year-old artist had previously taken a hiatus from performing and recording to address his mental health. His powerful comeback to live performance was at Glastonbury Festival this past June. His return single, “Survive,” immediately ascended to the No. 1 spot on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, adding to his impressive collection of six chart-topping hits. Furthermore, his signature track, “Someone You Loved,” was recognized in November 2022 as the U.K.’s most streamed song of all time, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You.”
Capaldi boasts a flawless record on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, with both his 2019 album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, and his 2023 release, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, each securing lengthy tenures at No. 1 for ten and three weeks, respectively.
The newly announced Roundhay Festival is set to take place in Leeds, Yorkshire. It will be hosted in Roundhay Park, one of Europe’s largest city parks, sprawling over 700 acres of woodlands, lakes, and fields in the north-east of the city. This historic venue has a rich tradition of hosting large-scale music events, having welcomed iconic acts such as the Rolling Stones (1982), Genesis (1987), Madonna (1987), Michael Jackson (1988), U2 (1997), and, most recently, Ed Sheeran (2019).
