LeBron James had a strong message for Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever star reacts
The WNBA’s popularity is currently on a major boom as the 2025 season recently kicked off.
Speaking of which, no one can deny the impact of Iowa alumna Caitlin Clark on women’s basketball on a global stage.
Following a tremendous rookie year with the Indiana Fever, Clark kicked off her sophomore season with a much-anticipated matchup against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky.

Despite playing just a single WNBA season, Clark has already established herself as one of the faces of the WNBA. Evidently, Clark has received huge praise from NBA superstars as well.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is someone who has always appreciated young talents and the King did the same for Clark ahead of their season debut.
“Good luck and DO YOU per usual this season!” James wrote in his latest Instagram post.
Getting backed by the face of the NBA is no small deal, and Clark understands that. She didn’t take long to respond to James’ message.
“The greatest of all time. Thank you,” Clark commented as she hailed James the GOAT.
The Fever vs Sky matchup had basketball fans glued to their screens as Clark and Reese locked into their first battle of the season.
While the two stars got into an altercation during the game, it was obvious that CC is a notch above Reese in terms of sheer basketball ability.
Clark finished the night with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Fever clinched a massive 93-58 win to begin the season.
On the other hand, Reese did have 12 points and 17 rebounds, but she shot an underwhelming 35.7% from the field.
