Kaizer Chiefs in Transfer Frenzy: Club Signs New Stars Amidst Fan Outcry!

Amidst these market challenges, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed several key permanent signings. Winger and striker Khanyisa Mayo, 27, has transitioned from a season-long loan spell to a permanent deal with the Glamour Boys. Mayo, who initially joined Amakhosi on loan in September 2025 from Algerian club CR Belouizdad, made an immediate impact by scoring on his debut, although injuries and inconsistent game time limited him to two goals in 15 matches. Born in Umtata, Mayo's career includes stints at SuperSport United academy, Royal Eagles, Richards Bay, and Cape Town City, where he was a joint-top scorer in the 2022/23 PSL season with 12 goals and followed up with another 10-goal campaign before moving to Algeria in August 2024.
