Jurassic World Rebirth box office collection Day 10: Scarlett Johansson starrer soars to Rs 72.78 crore in India; eyes No. 1 spot on highest earning Hollywood releases of 2025

Jurassic World Rebirth is proving to be a box office juggernaut in India. The Scarlett Johansson-led dino-action spectacle has now earned an estimated Rs 72.78 crore (net) in just 10 days, becoming one of the top-performing Hollywood releases of the year. After wrapping up a solid Rs 55 crore in its first week, the film maintained impressive momentum in its second weekend. According to early estimates, Jurassic World Rebirth collected Rs 17.78 crore over the weekend, despite heavy competition from James Gunn’s Superman, which debuted with Rs 24.94 crore net over its three-day weekend. The latest instalment in the Jurassic franchise has not only drawn huge crowds but also emerged as a surprise box office winner for Hollywood in India, outpacing several recent releases. It currently stands as the second-highest grossing Hollywood film of 2025 in the country, behind Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which amassed Rs 103.81 crore net during its 58-day theatrical run. With Jurassic World Rebirth already crossing the Rs 70 crore milestone in record time, all eyes are now on whether the film can scale the Rs 100 crore mark to dethrone Mission: Impossible and become the year’s highest-grossing Hollywood film in India. The film’s strong reception is also contributing to a robust season for English-language cinema in India, which has already pulled in over Rs 150 crore in July alone, boosted by hits like F1, Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman. The month will end on another high, with the release of the Marvel superhero film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Releasing on July 25, the film is tipped to be one of the biggest openers of the year.
