JRG Automotive acquires SEFI's two-wheeler plastics division to expand market reach

JRG Automotive Industries Pvt Ltd has acquired the two-wheeler functional plastics division of Stanley Engineered Fastening India (SEFI), a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker. The deal includes two manufacturing units in Manesar (Haryana) and Bangalore, specialising in injection-molded plastic components for two-wheeler OEMs, construction equipment manufacturers, and Tier-1 suppliers. The undisclosed transaction expands JRG’s geographic footprint and production capacity.
Pawan Goyal, JRG’s Founder and Managing Director, emphasised the acquisition’s role in solidifying the company’s presence across India’s major automotive hubs by saying, “We are establishing a strong foothold in South India, particularly in Bangalore, solidifying JRG’s presence across all three major automotive hubs in India. Furthermore, adding infra equipment manufacturers as a customer strengthens our entry into the infra equipment manufacturing segment, expanding our market reach.”
SEFI will retain its core engineered fastening solutions, operating factories in Chennai and Bangalore. The sale allows SEFI to concentrate on its expertise in aerospace, automotive, and industrial fastening technologies, while JRG integrates the acquired division into its operations.
