Fans of action thrillers can always find something to like in team-ups between director Guy Ritchie and British tough guy Jason Statham, and that is being proven again as one of the pair’s massively underrated revenge flicks is currently topping the Hulu streaming chart.

Released in 2021, heist-revenge thriller Wrath of Man has muscled its way up the Hulu chart since it was added to the platform on July 3. Jumping above newly released titles like F*ck Marry Kill and Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything, it is impossible to deny the pull of rough, tough action movies on streaming, and Statham is very well acquainted with stints in the Top 10 on many platforms with both his latest movies and some old classics.

Every Jason Statham Movie Releasing After 'A Working Man'

Find out what action movies Jason Statham will star in after the massive 2025 hit 'A Working Man.'

Adapted from the 2004 French picture Cash Truck (Le Convoyeur), Wrath of Man was a box office winner when it released in cinemas four years ago, pulling in $104 million worldwide, which is solid enough for its genre but nothing overly spectacular. On its release, it landed a 67% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, but had a much more pleasing 90% rating from audiences. The synopsis of Wrath of Man reads:

“A mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his coworkers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman's ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.”

Jason Statham has recently scored big hits with The Beekeeper and A Working Man, two movies that are both almost certainly getting at least one sequel. The Beekeeper was a strong winner at the box office, but its real buzz came when it hit Prime Video’s Top 10 and has rarely left it in the last year.

While Statham’s movies follow similar beats, and he is often cast in roles of men attempting to leave behind a past they would rather forget but instead is drawn back into a world they want to be done with, that is also exactly the kind of role that works for him and continues to please his audiences time and time again.

Wrath of Man is a movie that put Statham at the height of his career, and he has mostly stayed there with some tight, brutal action thrillers being added to his resume. As long as audiences continue to turn up, Statham seems happy to provide the thrills, and has several new movies in various stages of development as a result. A sequel to The Beekeeper is on the way, which will settle in alongside his expected appearance in Fast & Furious 11, and Mutiny, which is the new thriller coming up from Plane helmer Jean-Francois Richet.

All in all, there is never really a shortage of new Jason Statham movies in the offing, and in between the gaps there are more than enough of the actor’s older movies scattered across streaming platforms to keep everyone happy and thrilled.
