This high-profile project marks Broccoli's inaugural venture since the transfer of Bond rights to Amazon MGM. The film will be directed by and star David Oyelowo in the titular role, alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Desdemona and Cynthia Erivo as Emilia, bringing together a formidable cast for this ambitious undertaking. Filming is scheduled to commence in the Qatari capital of Doha in autumn 2026.
