Itelyum Varese (Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Australian 205cm forward Grant Anticevich (college: California). He started the season at NZL Breakers in Australian NBL league. In 26 games he recorded 4.2ppg and 2.2rpg. The last season season he played at BG Goettingen (BBL) in German league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. He also played 34 games in German BBL where he averaged 7.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1apg. Anticevich also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 9.1ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.2apg.
He was a member of Australian Under 19 National Team back in 2016.
Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Anticevich has played previously professionally also in Germany and New Zealand (Sharks).
He was voted to Australian U19 National Team in 2016.
Anticevich graduated from University of California in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
