AEK Betsson Athens (GBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American ex-international guard Rayjon Tucker (191cm-95kg-1997, college: UALR). Tucker started the season at Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Italian Serie A. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 20 Serie A games he recorded 5.5ppg and 1.8rpg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Tucker also played 23 games in Euroleague where he averaged 3.4ppg and 1.0rpg. He was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2022.
Tucker is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Tucker has played previously professionally in Australia (United), NBA (Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and Wisconsin Herd) and NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Import Player of the Year in 2024.
He graduated from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2019 and it is his sixth season as a professional player. He played also for Florida Gulf Coast University for 2 years.
