Trieste keeps Ruzzier for another season - March 28, 2025

Newly promoted Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste (Serie A) re-signed 32-year old ex-international 183cm point guard Michele Ruzzier. He has played there for the last three seasons. He helped them to make it to the Italian Cup Semifinals.
Ruzzier was also a member of the Italian international program for some years. He played for Italian Senior National Team back in 2020 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2011.
Ruzzier represented Italy at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tallinn (Estonia) twelve years ago. Ruzzier's team won Gold and he had over 7 points per game.
He has played previously for five other teams: Openjobmetis Varese, Umana Venezia, Fortitudo Flat Service Bologna, Cremona and Virtus Bologna.
Ruzzier won Italian Serie A2 Gold championship title in 2024.
