The highlight of the GRAMYs tonight was 's win in the Best Metal Category (despite rock and metal generally being a dud), but fellow nominees of and (who was nominated with for their single "Suffocate") had a very hilarious moment on the red carpet.

stopped for a quick interview with Stage Right Secrets, who mistook for . played along and didn't correct the interviewer, and the whole thing was pretty funny and impressive. The interviewer starts off by saying they're "here with rock royalty, ." then makes a face, which the interviewer takes as her being unsure if she's royalty – which y'know, it's because isn't .

ultimately plays along and responds: "I am and I am really happy to be here nominated with . I really hope we win." And yes, she keeps up the character of "" throughout. When asked how many women have been nominated in the metal category, hilariously responds: "I haven't looked at that, but I just always know that, you know it's time for one of us to win. And I hope it's me or Spiritbox. Courtney is awesome."

LaPlante also talks about her "appearance with Knocked Loose" on Jimmy Kimmel, women in metal, and… yeah I mean, you get the idea. Shout out to LaPlante for not breaking character once, and giving a genuinely not-joking answer when talking about women in metal. It's very cool.
