Since their NCAA championship game meeting in 2023, every game between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese has become an unmissable event for basketball fans.
For the Los Angeles Lakers, star forward LeBron James currently falls in the "basketball fan" category. His NBA season ended in April after a first-round playoff loss, but James is staying busy watching women's hoops and giving his opinions on social media.
He was tuned in for the Indiana Fever's 93-58 season-opening win over the Chicago Sky, posting strong public messages of support for Clark on X and Instagram.
James' analysis went deeper than the Clark and Reese storyline. During the game, he highlighted Fever free agent signing Natasha Howard, who impressed in her 2025 WNBA season debut.
In a response to a post on X about Indiana acquiring veteran forward DeWanna Bonner, James made sure Howard was not left out of the conversation.
"Natasha Howard too!" he said. "They both can play 3-5(if needed at times)."
Howard, 33, saw the post late Saturday night and could not find any words to respond. She simply saluted King James for his shoutout on X.

Against the Sky, Howard recorded 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block. She played 29 minutes, the most of any forward in head coach Stephanie White's rotation.
Howard signed a one-year, $214,466 contract this offseason to rejoin the Fever, the team who drafted her No. 5 overall in 2014.
Now in her 12th season, the versatile 6-foot-2 forward has averaged 11.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in her WNBA career. She won three championships along the way with the Minnesota Lynx in 2017 and the Seattle Storm in 2018 and 2020.
