Illenium Blasts Off: New Album and Las Vegas Sphere Residency Unveiled!

Renowned future bass producer Illenium, born Nick Miller, is set to make history as the second electronic artist to hold a residency at the iconic Sphere in Las Vegas. His six-show run, titled "Odyssey," is scheduled to commence in March 2026, with specific dates announced for March 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14. This groundbreaking announcement is accompanied by news of a forthcoming album, also named "Odyssey," marking his first new album since his 2023 self-titled LP and his inaugural project since joining Republic Records in May. While an official release date for the album is yet to be disclosed, the Sphere residency is positioned as the exclusive location where fans will be able to experience Illenium’s sixth studio album performed live.

Tickets for the "Odyssey" residency at Sphere will be available for presale starting September 23, followed by the general on-sale beginning September 26. Illenium has shared a teaser video for the project on social media, building anticipation among his fanbase. In a statement, Illenium described "Odyssey" as "a journey of self discovery and acceptance," emphasizing its role as "a moment where fans feel understood, a space where we’re all together and present for that same emotional escape." He expressed his eagerness to welcome everyone to this unique experience, particularly within the immersive environment of Sphere.

Further enhancing the "Odyssey" experience, Illenium has released a new track titled "Forever," which is confirmed to be featured in the Sphere shows. This new song will join his recently released single "In My Arms," a collaboration with vocalist Hayla, as part of the live setlist. Illenium's residency signifies a significant expansion of dance music's presence within the technologically advanced venue. Preceding Illenium, Anyma carved out a space for electronic music as the first act of its kind to headline Sphere in late 2024 and early 2025. Additionally, "Unity," a collaborative series from major dance festival brands Tomorrowland and Insomniac Events, has also inaugurated its own Sphere run, showcasing a diverse lineup of artists including Kaskade, Chase & Status, Alan Walker, Meduza, James Hype, Slander, Sara Landry, and Subtronics, further cementing Sphere as a premier destination for electronic dance music spectacles.
