As online commerce continues to grow, so does the need for modern, secure, and user-friendly payment solutions. Idram remains at the forefront of this transformation in Armenia, helping shape a more innovative financial ecosystem.
Idram took part in the 10th Armenian-Russian Interregional Cooperation Forum, held in Yerevan, where a key topic of discussion was the role of cross-border cooperation in the advancement of electronic commerce.
Idram’s Commercial Director, Grigori Yolyan, noted that the company is currently represented in over 25,000 points of sales, more than 1,000 of which are e-commerce platforms—both Armenian and international. “Classic bank acquiring is gradually being replaced by more flexible and comprehensive solutions, such as Idram Checkout. It offers multifunctional capabilities, allowing users to link both bank cards and accounts to a specific platform through Idram. The system also supports additional options like BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) and other innovative tools,” said Yolyan.
With Idram Checkout, customers can make payments on a retailer's website either via banking.idram.am or by scanning a QR code displayed on the site using their Idram&IDBank application. When shopping through an online store’s mobile app, users can choose Idram as the payment method, prompting the Idram app to automatically open with a ready-to-confirm payment page—making the process fast, simple, and secure.
Rafael Abrahamyan, Director of International Development at Wildberries, emphasized the crucial role of payment platforms in the growth of e-commerce. “This is a constantly evolving field—new solutions emerge every day, and it’s essential to adopt, develop, and implement them quickly. We already offer our customers the ability to view product prices in their preferred currency and complete transactions in that same currency, without worrying about the complexities of cross-border payments,” he said.
In Armenia, Wildberries also cooperates with Idram.
The solutions provided by Idram are not only fast but also accessible. With the use of Rocket Line digital installment plan, both sellers and buyers can boost their sales and purchases, making the shopping experience more flexible and efficient.
“Getting started with Idram as a business today takes just a few hours and requires only a simple multi-page API integration,” said Grigori Yolyan, Commercial Director of Idram. “Once implemented, receiving payments through Idram and offering Rocket Line digital installments takes just seconds—streamlining the process for both merchants and customers.”
Notably, with every transaction made, Idram and IDBank contribute one dram to “The Power of One Dram” initiative. By combining speed, simplicity, and social responsibility, Idram is not only transforming Armenia’s online payment culture but also creating new opportunities for businesses and consumers alike.
