IB Nation Sports Talk starts today's show with an exclusive interview with Notre Dame women's basketball head coach . IB's talks with Ivey about the five players she brought in from the transfer portal, All-American guard , incoming injured freshman , recruiting, NIL and more.
Later, joins Stires for Rapid Fire and they discuss Notre Dame football and much more. See the list of topics below!
Today's Rapid Fire topics include:
* Fill-in the blank: We are in a BLANK period for Notre Dame football.
* switched his jersey number from 26 to 10. Is there any way that’s not a signal that he’s going back to the quarterback room?
* was our guest to start the show today. We talked about every scholarship player on the roster for the upcoming season, including incoming freshman forward . She tore an ACL during her team’s Kentucky state tournament and Sean Stires asked Ivey what her prognosis is for this season. We hear Ivey's answer and discuss.
* We guess the season over/under win total for Texas A&M.
* Wisconsin is suing Miami accusing the Hurricanes of tampering. It stems from former Wisconsin freshman cornerback transferring to Miami. Wisconsin refused to honor Lucas's wish to enter the transfer portal because he had signed a two-year deal with Wisconsin’s NIL collective and a two-year revenue-sharing contract with the school, which would kick in once the House settlement was finalized. Lucas transferred to Miami anyway, at which point Wisconsin put out a statement accusing Miami of tampering. How significant is this?
* Fill-in the blank: The Pac-12 has agreed to a new TV contract with CBS that will run through the 2031 season. Beginning next year, the conference will include Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Utah State, Oregon State, and Washington State. They’re also expected to add Texas State and Gonzaga will join for everything but football. That conference will be BLANK.
* Fill-in the blank: The sports moment you watched live (not necessarily in person) that you will never forget is BLANK.
