Fortnite has introduced a fresh wave of chaos with its “Lawless” theme and with it comes a thrilling hunt for some of the game’s most powerful gear: Exotic weapons. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill rifles. Each Exotic comes with unique perks, and only one player per match can wield each type, making them incredibly rare and highly sought after.

To access Exotic weapons, you’ll first need an

Outlaw Keycard

. After playing a match, you’ll unlock the Common Outlaw Keycard, which grants entry to the Black Market backrooms.

From there, complete specific Outlaw Quests to upgrade your card to Legendary. Each level of the card unlocks better rewards, including free loot, access to premium loadouts, and Legendary weapons hidden within the Black Markets.
You don’t need to win a match to start the questline. Simply entering and finishing any Battle Royale match will kick off the progression.

Once you’ve secured your Keycard, it’s time to gather Dill Bits, a match-limited currency introduced this season. These can be found in vaults located at hotspots like Crime City, Masked Meadows, Seaport City, and Lonewolf Lair—or on the Armored Train that circles the island.
To open vaults, use Thermite (found as floor loot, in chests, or purchased for 50 Bars at Black Markets) and apply it to the vault door. Look for a meter at the top of your screen - once full, the vault will open. Inside, you’ll find Dill Bits and other high-tier loot.

Dill Bits can only be spent during the match, they don’t carry over. So don’t waste time. Head to a Black Market backroom as soon as you have 1 Dill Bit.
