Joe joins the brekky duo from a prison, where he has served 8 years of a 21 year sentence following his conviction in a case involving animal welfare activist
Both were featured in the Tiger King Netflix docu-series.
Joe recently recently made headlines for his unexpected endorsement of and his even more unexpected proposal: Set him free, and he’ll come work at an Aussie wildlife park for six months, completely unpaid.
Davo & Jax could see him doing it in the where the crocs are snappier, the rules are looser, and the locals are up for anything.
“We slid into his inbox, and he actually wrote back,” reveals. “Next thing we know, we’re lining up an interview with Joe Exotic — from prison.”
“We asked him if he wanted to send a message to Albo,” added Jax. “He didn’t hesitate.”
The result? A one-of-a-kind audio plea straight from the Tiger King himself, asking Albo to consider his offer — and hinting that he’s ready to trade tigers for crocodiles if it means a fresh start in the Top End.
