Hollywood Agent calls Justin Baldoni 'Bologna' amid lawsuit drama

Hollywood star agent

Ari Emmanuel

mocked Justin Baldoni’s name amid the fiery dispute between Blake Lively and Justin. Not only did he appreciate Ryan Reynolds and Blake for being incredible, but he also fired Justin from his agency.
In an interview with Stephen Dubner at Freakonomics Radio Live show, the agent called him ‘Bologna’ instead of ‘Baldoni,’ “It is a f— up, bad situation with what Bologna … Baldoni … whatever his name is … is doing.” When Dubner mentioned Baldoni being part of his agency

, Emmanuel reciprocated by saying, “Until I fired him."
The agent continued by saying that the Reynold couple has been part of his agency for over a decade, and they haven’t done anything bad, highlighting that many people have worked with them before, and no one complained. With their charitable instincts, the pair has donated a ton of money.
Additionally, Ari declared that if the things alleged in Blake’s lawsuit regarding the smear campaign and harassment on set turn out to be true, then Baldoni and his team are ‘bad’ just because Lively complained about unhealthy things on the set. “I know Blake, I know Ryan, they’re good people,” he added.

Following the statement, Bryan Freedman, Justin Baldoni’s attorney, called Ari one of the most loyal agents in Hollywood. “As I understand it, Justin hasn’t been called ‘Bologna’ since the fifth grade. Perhaps Ari’s perspective would be different if they had ever met in the half-decade they were clients of his agency,” he mentioned to The Hollywood Reporter.
WME dropped Baldoni as a client in December following the complaint filed by Blake Lively. Initially, she filed at the California Civil Rights Department, however, when social media users questioned her credibility, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni.
The trial is expected to begin next year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
