Hip-Hop Heavyweights Collide: 50 Cent Unleashes Scathing Attack on Diddy's Camp

The long-standing rivalry between G-Unit leader 50 Cent and Bad Boy mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has intensified significantly with the impending release of 50 Cent's new four-part Netflix documentary, "Sean Combs: The Reckoning." This highly anticipated docuseries is scheduled to hit the streaming platform on Tuesday, December 2, promising to offer a detailed examination of Diddy's recent legal challenges and public image.
In the lead-up to the documentary's premiere, 50 Cent and the film's director, Alexandria Stapleton, made an appearance on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts on Monday, December 1, to share insights and details about the project. During this promotional period, 50 Cent revealed that Diddy’s publicist has accused him of being an “adversary” against Combs due to the documentary. 50 Cent took to Instagram, sharing a screenshot from a New York Times article concerning Harvey Weinstein's publicist, to assert that Diddy’s current public relations team is actively working to discredit him. He characterized the publicist's remarks as "very nasty," sarcastically suggesting the animosity stemmed from his reluctance to attend Diddy's parties.
A crucial element of 50 Cent’s upcoming documentary is the inclusion of never-before-seen footage of Diddy. This particular footage was reportedly slated for a separate film that was in production prior to the embattled mogul’s arrest in September 2024. One segment of this revealing footage captures Diddy in what appears to be a hotel room, engaged in a conversation with his legal team. In the clip, Diddy is heard emphatically demanding, "Listen to me, I am going to let you professionals look at the situation and come back to me with a solution. Y’all are not working together the right way. We’re losing."
During his interview on Good Morning America, 50 Cent highlighted this specific scene, describing it as a pivotal moment that offers a clear look into Combs' manipulative character. The rapper emphasized the rarity of such an unguarded moment being captured on camera, suggesting that Diddy "forgot he was on tape" at that moment, thereby providing an unfiltered glimpse into his true self.
