The beloved 'Hera Pheri' trio—Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty—is officially back, and fans couldn’t be happier. But their reunion didn’t happen overnight. In a recent interview, Suniel Shetty opened up about the behind-the-scenes friction that almost tore the trio apart.Talking to Mid Day, Suniel shared that when Paresh Rawal temporarily exited 'Hera Pheri 3,' it caused a wave of disappointment not only among fans but also within the core team. Misunderstandings and unresolved issues threatened to derail the much-awaited project.However, Suniel, who has often played the steadying force in real life as well, found himself encouraging dialogue between his co-stars. Without seeking credit for the reconciliation, he revealed, “The patch-up happened because of the mutual respect Akshay and Paresh have for each other.”

Suniel recalled his simple but heartfelt advice to the duo: “Baat karlo ek doosre se. Don’t let the world divide you.” He insisted that despite outside noise, neither of the actors had ever spoken ill of the other. He particularly praised Paresh Rawal for never publicly criticising Akshay, and recalled an incident where a journalist referred to Paresh as “foolish.” Akshay immediately shut down the comment, defending Paresh and calling him a friend.

“That moment made it clear to all of us—they genuinely care for each other,” Suniel said.

Paresh Rawal has now officially confirmed his comeback to 'Hera Pheri 3' during his appearance on Himanshu Mehta’s podcast. He shared that while he was always meant to return, it was important for everyone to fine-tune their vision. “They’re all creatives—Priyadarshan, Akshay, Suniel—we’ve known each other for years,” he said, adding that the spirit of collaboration is what ultimately brought the team back together.

With the trio reuniting, 'Hera Pheri 3' is back on track, and the iconic character of Baburao is all set to return to the big screen.
