Blake Shelton is making a comeback with "For Recreational Use Only," his first album in four years. He shared with Entertainment Tonight's Cassie DiLaura about his new CBS series, "The Road," working with his wife Gwen Stefani, and enjoying family life in Oklahoma.

The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) will include performances by Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, and Reneé Rapp. Jennifer Lopez will host the event, and Janet Jackson will receive the ICON Award. The AMAs will air live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Monday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Benson Boone, a first-time nominee, will perform "Mystical Magical" from his upcoming album, American Heart. Blake Shelton will perform a track from his new album, For Recreational Use Only. Gloria Estefan will perform for the first time in 32 years, celebrating her music career. Gwen Stefani will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut solo album Love.Angel.Music.Baby with a medley including "Hollaback Girl," and a song from her newest album Bouquet. Lainey Wilson, fresh from winning four awards at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, will also perform, following her European shows and ahead of her U.S. Whirlwind World Tour. Reneé Rapp will debut new music from her upcoming sophomore album, having previously performed on the MTV Video Music Awards' Extended Play stage in 2023.

Janet Jackson, an 11-time American Music Award winner, will receive the ICON Award and perform for the first time on television since 2018.

Fan voting is open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram profile, closing tonight (Thursday, May 15) at 11:59:59 p.m. PT, except for collaboration and social song of the year categories, which remain open through the first 30 minutes of the broadcast.

Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s nominees with 10 nominations, followed by Post Malone with eight, and Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey with seven each. Winners are determined by fan votes, based on Billboard chart data including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay, and tour grosses tracked by Billboard and Luminate, from March 22, 2024, through March 20, 2025.

The AMAs are produced by Dick Clark Productions and will pay tribute to U.S. troops and veterans. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
