Gotham's Call: Batman Part 2 Confirms 2026 Release, Serkis on Alfred's Return!

The landscape of the movie-making industry has undergone a significant transformation over the last 15 years, largely influenced by the rise of superhero cinematic universes. However, seminal superhero films predating this era, such as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire and Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Batman movies with Christian Bale, were instrumental in paving the way for the current generation of Hollywood blockbusters, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Barry Keoghan is also set to return as the Joker, building on his cameo from the first film. Additionally, new cast members Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan have joined the project, with Stan reportedly portraying Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face. However, Zoë Kravitz is not expected to reprise her role as Catwoman, as her character seemingly departed Gotham at the end of the initial film.
