Golden Glory: 'One Battle After Another' and 'Sinners' Dominate Globe Nominations!
Following the recent Critics Choice Awards nominees announcement, the nominees for the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards have been officially revealed. This year's ceremony is particularly notable as it marks the first time the award for Best Podcast will be recognized. The event is scheduled to air on CBS on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 8 pm ET to 11 pm ET.
In the film categories, "One Battle After Another" leads with an impressive nine nominations, followed closely by "Sentimental Value" with eight, and "Sinners" with seven. For television, "The White Lotus" received six nominations, "Adolescence" earned five, while "Only Murders in the Building" and "Severance" each secured four nominations, making them top contenders.
Among film distributors, Neon leads the pack with 21 nominations, demonstrating its strong presence in cinematic achievements. Warner Bros. Pictures follows with 16, Netflix with 13, and Focus Features with 10. In the television landscape, Netflix dominates with 22 nominations, with HBO Max securing 15 and Apple TV receiving 12 nominations.
The 83rd Golden Globes will also celebrate 27 performers receiving their first-ever nominations. Notable first-time nominees include Aimee Lou Wood for "The White Lotus", Jacob Elordi for his roles in "Frankenstein" and "The Narrow Road to the Deep North", Owen Cooper for "Adolescence", and Tramell Tilman for "Severance". This year also features several double nominees, including Amanda Seyfried for "Long Bright River" and "The Testament of Ann Lee", Jeremy Allen White for "The Bear" and "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere", and Jacob Elordi. The consistent excellence of some performers is recognized, with Martin Short and Steve Martin receiving their fifth consecutive nominations for "Only Murders in the Building", and Jeremy Allen White earning his fourth consecutive nomination for "The Bear". Selena Gomez for "Only Murders" and Ayo Edebiri for "The Bear" have also achieved their fourth and third consecutive nominations, respectively.
