Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, has announced that Ghana will host the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Festival, a major international event aimed at showcasing the country’s thriving innovation and startup ecosystem.

Speaking at a press briefing in Accra on Thursday, July 3, he expressed pride in Ghana’s selection, describing it as a vote of confidence in the country’s entrepreneurial growth and digital transformation agenda.

He noted that the festival would not only place Ghana firmly on the global innovation map but also unlock significant investment opportunities.

“The Ministry is proud to announce that Ghana has been chosen to host the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Festival. This event, which will attract over 10,000 in-person participants from more than 70 countries, including over 100 exhibitors, will take place over three days in November.”

He added that the festival will bring together venture capitalists, global investors, tech leaders, and captains of industry, all looking to partner with Ghana’s brightest innovators and promising startups.

The event is expected to serve as a launchpad for local entrepreneurs to gain access to funding, mentorship, and global markets.

Sam George further emphasised the socio-economic benefits the country stands to gain, citing tourism, job creation, and international collaboration as key outcomes.

“It brings into the country venture capitalists, investors, and captains of industry to partner with the brightest innovators and startups in our country,” he said.
