Ghana's Joy FM Party in the Park 2025: A Dazzling Extravaganza of Music, Dance & Family Fun!

The Joy FM Family Party in the Park 2025 commenced with an electric atmosphere at the picturesque Aburi Botanical Gardens, drawing hundreds of city dwellers, families, and music lovers to celebrate the holiday season. This much-anticipated annual event, traditionally held on December 26th, transformed the lush green landscape just outside Accra into a vibrant hub of entertainment, leisure, and community bonding. Patrons, dressed in colourful outfits, arrived in numbers, ready to immerse themselves in a day filled with joy and excitement.
Children quickly claimed their space, turning the wide gardens into a playground of their own making. Laughter echoed across the park as young ones bounced, jumped, and played, with the colourful inflatable bouncing castles swiftly becoming the main attraction. Children excitedly queued for their turn, leaping into the air and tumbling with friends, burning off energy under the watchful eyes of parents and volunteers. Beyond the bouncing castles, a variety of engaging activities like fun games, face painting, and interactive play zones were set up, ensuring children of all ages had memorable experiences. Parents watched with smiles as their children enjoyed outdoor recreation, bonding with peers and family members away from screens, enhancing the event's family-centred appeal.
The musical lineup was a major highlight, captivating the growing crowd with a diverse array of performances. The Shakers Band set an energetic tone early in the day, thrilling patrons with live renditions that sparked cheers, sing-alongs, and spontaneous dance moves. Following their captivating performance, the Kwanpa Band took to the stage, delivering a series of thrilling live performances with their lively blend of popular Ghanaian rhythms, classic hits, and contemporary sounds, further elevating the festive mood. The atmosphere reached new heights with the arrival of Ghanaian musical duo DopeNation. Comprising identical twin brothers, the award-winning artistes ignited the crowd with their signature blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and high-energy rhythms, drawing loud cheers and enthusiastic dancing. Their commanding stage presence and seamless coordination brought a youthful and contemporary flavour to the event. Capping off the stellar musical offerings, highlife star Kwabena Kwabena graced the stage, sending waves of excitement through the crowd. Known for his soulful voice and timeless highlife hits, he captivated attendees with classic favourites and well-loved melodies, maintaining the festive spirit.
Despite intermittent drizzles that occasionally swept across the venue, the festive atmosphere remained undiminished. Revellers embraced the light rainfall, continuing to dance enthusiastically, gathered under trees, or freely in the open, determined not to let the weather hinder their enjoyment. Beyond the music and games, attendees explored various food and beverage stands, engaged with branded activations, and celebrated together, fostering a strong sense of community. The event was powered by Frytol, Ecobank, Enterprise Life, and JAMA, with additional sponsorship from Gino, Doormaster, Oyuda, Club, and Fresh Drop, among other enterprises, highlighting its significant backing.
Joy FM's Family Party in the Park has solidified its reputation as a flagship lifestyle and entertainment event, successfully bringing together families through music, leisure, and social interaction in the serene environment of the Aburi Botanical Gardens. It offered a simpler joy: room to move, play, and connect, making it a truly memorable holiday celebration for all who attended.
