Fuel Racket Exposed: Energy Bosses Busted Over Substandard Petroleum Scandal!

Top energy sector officials in Kenya were arrested on Thursday night by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over an alleged grand scheme to import substandard fuel into the country. This conspiracy, if proven, would have posed a significant risk to Kenyans' lives.

Those arrested and held at Gigiri Police Station include Daniel Kiptoo, the Director-General of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra), Joe Sang, the Managing Director of Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), and Mohamed Liban, the Petroleum Principal Secretary.

The arrests have brought to light serious allegations concerning the integrity of fuel imports, suggesting a deliberate effort to allow dangerous and non-compliant fuel into the national supply.
