Frozen 3 Production Heats Up: Kristen Bell Confirms Script & Imminent Filming!
Kristen Bell, known for her iconic role as Anna in the beloved animated movie musical franchise “Frozen,” has provided eagerly awaited updates on the upcoming third installment. Bell confirmed that the cast for “Frozen 3” will “soon” commence production, a piece of news that will undoubtedly excite fans worldwide. While she has not yet heard any of the new songs, Bell has indeed seen the script for the movie. She characterized the initial script process as involving “mostly like concept stuff” that outlines the intended direction of the story. Bell lauded Disney’s rigorous creative process, highlighting that it passes through “a thousand filters,” ensuring a comprehensive and refined final product that resonates broadly with audiences. “Frozen 3” is scheduled for release in 2027. Visual development art, previously unveiled in August 2024, offered a glimpse into the film’s aesthetic, showing Elsa on a white horse and Anna on a brown stag. The original voice cast, including Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as Olaf, who brought the fictional kingdom of Arendelle to life in the first two Oscar-winning films, is expected to return.
In addition to her animated ventures, Kristen Bell is also actively involved in the live-action series “Nobody Wants This,” with its second season premiering on Netflix on October 23. Her co-star, Adam Brody, succinctly described the new season by stating that “sh*t gets real.” The upcoming season will feature a guest appearance from Brody’s wife, Leighton Meester. However, Bell disclosed that her own husband, Dax Shepard, is unlikely to make an appearance in the series. Shepard, who is well-known for his podcast “Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard,” prefers the format of podcasting and is less inclined towards the demanding schedule of acting, which involves extensive hair, makeup, and long days on set, unless it is something he deeply desires. This is noteworthy as the series itself centers on two sisters who co-host a podcast. Brody also shared his ideal guest star for the show, expressing a desire for Barbra Streisand to appear as herself.
