HBO has unveiled an explosive official trailer for House of the Dragon Season 3, confirming its premiere on Sunday, June 21, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with streaming available on HBO Max. The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, releasing weekly until the finale on August 9.

The third season will thrust viewers into the direct conflict of the Dance of the Dragons, a long-anticipated war between Rhaenyra Targaryen and the Greens that will spill from political arenas into the skies. Showrunner and co-creator Ryan Condal has teased the intensity, revealing that the season opens with the legendary Battle of the Gullet, calling the premiere “arguably the craziest episode of television ever made.” Emma D'Arcy, who portrays Rhaenyra, echoed this sentiment, stating, “The series this time around starts at 60 miles an hour.
