FIFA has officially unveiled the full schedule for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, confirming that the iconic Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro will serve as the venue for both the tournament's opening match and the final. The global football governing body announced on Thursday that all 64 matches will be distributed across eight Host Cities, with each city guaranteed to stage a minimum of seven matches, including at least one knockout fixture.

Hosts Brazil are set to commence their campaign at the Maracanã on Thursday, June 24. Following their opening game, they will travel to São Paulo for their second group match at Arena Itaquera on Tuesday, June 29. Their final group-stage fixture will be played at the Estádio Nacional in Brasília on Sunday, July 4.

The knockout stages will see various cities host critical matches. Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador have been designated to host matches through the Round of 16. As the tournament progresses, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza will join Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo as venues for the quarter-finals. São Paulo will also have the honor of staging one semi-final and the bronze-medal match, while the second semi-final and the grand final will both take place at the historic Maracanã.
