FIBA 3x3 World Tour and Women's Series 2025: New Events & BCL Final Four Tickets Available

FIBA has announced the addition of new stops to the 3x3 World Tour and 3x3 Women’s Series for 2025. The World Tour 2025 is set to officially begin in Utsunomiya, Japan, on April 26-27. Following a year of substantial digital engagement in 2024, the upcoming World Tour season promises entertainment both on and off the court. The locations for the World Tour include:

Chengdu (China): May 3-4

Amsterdam (Netherlands): May 17-18

Marseille (France): May 24-25

Vienna (Austria): June 13-15

Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia): June 20-21

Hong Kong (Hong Kong, China): July 19-20

Edmonton (Canada): August 2-3

Lausanne (Switzerland): August 15-16

Debrecen (Hungary): August 29-31

Shanghai (China): September 27-28

Shenzhen (China): October 4-5

Macau (Macau): October 18-19

Abu Dhabi (UAE): October 25-26

Manama Final (Bahrain): November 21-22

Amsterdam (NED) secured the FIBA 3x3 World Tour title last December in Hong Kong, defeating Paris (FRA) with a score of 22 – 20. Furthermore, additional Challengers, which serve as international qualifiers for the World Tour, have been announced since February 6.

The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series will commence in Chengdu on May 2-3. In 2025, the season will offer over 1 million USD in prize money and introduce new locations such as Austria, Indonesia, and the Netherlands. Confirmed stops for the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2025 are:

The location for the Women's Series Final in September is yet to be announced.

According to FIBA Managing Director Alex Sanchez, the organization is enthusiastic about the host cities for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and Women’s Series 2025. He anticipates that the events, spanning 27 cities across three continents, will provide memorable experiences for players, fans, and the global 3x3 basketball community.

The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2025 aims to continue the success of the 2024 season, which saw a 51% increase in impressions (reaching 50 million) and a 64% increase in views (totaling 41 million) on digital platforms. Established in 2019, the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series is the premier event in women's 3x3 professional basketball. France won the title in both 2014 and 2019, Germany in 2021, and Canada in 2022 and 2023. The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series is open to both National Federations and private promoters and will be broadcast globally on the All Women’s Sports Network.

In a separate announcement, tickets for the 2025 BCL Final Four, powered by SUNEL, will be available to the general public starting May 1. The event will be held at the SUNEL Arena in Athens from May 9 to 11. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.more.com, with various packages available. Fans supporting the four participating teams can contact their respective clubs for tickets in designated team sectors.

The semi-final matches on May 9 feature La Laguna Tenerife vs. Galatasaray at 18:00 local time (17:00 CEST), followed by AEK Betsson BC vs. Unicaja at 21:00 local time (20:00 CEST). The third-place game and the final are scheduled for May 11 at 17:00 and 20:00 local time (16:00 and 19:00 CEST), respectively.

Patrick Comninos, CEO of the Basketball Champions League, expressed his pride in bringing the event back to Greece, highlighting the country's significance in European basketball. He noted the unforgettable memories from the previous two editions in Athens and anticipates an even better tournament in 2025.

Makis Angelopoulos, Major Shareholder of AEK Betsson BC, is pleased to host the Final Four at their arena. He emphasized the competitiveness of this year's event, featuring teams with multiple European and Intercontinental Cup titles. He also highlighted AEK's role in revitalizing an Olympic facility and their commitment to upgrading and developing it.
