Lagos Fashion Week 2026 opens on October 28 and runs until November 1, bringing designers, buyers, media professionals and fashion enthusiasts together in Lagos under the theme “CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures.” Organised by Style House Files, the event will spotlight African craftsmanship, sustainable fashion and contemporary interpretations of traditional textiles.

The main venue is the LagosFW Tents at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, with offsite presentations planned for the closing day. Through initiatives such as Green Access and the Fashion Business Series, the programme will explore circular design, zero-waste tailoring and the use of locally rooted materials, including Aso-Oke, Akwete and Adire.

Designers expected to feature include Lisa Folawiyo, Andrea Iyamah, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Ugo Monye, Fruché, Abiola Olusola, Christie Brown, Cute Saint, Bloke and Emmy Kasbit, alongside emerging designers from the Green Access cohort.

Presentations will extend beyond conventional runway shows to highlight textile production, artisan weaving and beadwork, reinforcing the event’s focus on craft and innovation. Street style will also be a major part of the experience, with attendees expected to interpret heritage fabrics through contemporary tailoring, coordinated sets, corsets and statement accessories.

The programme will run alongside conversations about sustainable production and the role of African designers in shaping the global fashion industry.

Heineken, which is marking a decade of partnership with Lagos Fashion Week, will participate from October 29 to 31 through its “City of Cities: Where Taste Rules” campaign. The brand’s activities will include the Heineken Lounge, Heineken Runway Showcase featuring the Cruise Collection, Heineken Studio, and an after-party.

First introduced in Lagos in 2025, the campaign celebrates the city’s cultural diversity and the ways different communities express taste and identity. The Heineken Studio will make its Nigerian debut as a space for experimentation and discovery, with experiences such as Foam Infusions exploring new ways to serve and experience lager.

Sandra Amachree, Head of Marketing and Communications at Nigerian Breweries, said the partnership continues to connect the brand with fashion, creativity, and culture, adding that the new studio would introduce another dimension to the event’s exploration of taste and innovation.
