The action thriller Neglected, starring Josh Duhamel and Dylan Sprouse,will join forces with helmer David Lipper (Murder at Hollow Creek) for an all-out action-driven thrill ride in the director’s fourth foray into feature-length filmmaking with Neglected.

The pulse-pounding flick centers around Detective Shaw (Duhamel), who, when audiences first meet him, is ready to clock in and clock out for his last day on the job.

But, instead of simply rolling with the punches and waiting for time to run down on his final day on the force, the officer is instead faced with the most important case of his career.

After receiving word that his son has been abducted by a serial killer who has then buried him alive, the lawman snaps into action.

Unfortunately, things are about to get much, much worse.

Before he can track down his son, Detective Shaw must first solve three other brutal slayings that will put him on the path towards his child.

In an exclusive chat with Collider, Lipper hyped his latest project and praised the talents of his leading team, revealing:

"I think audiences will be blown away by Josh Duhamel’s performance, which was especially real for him, being the dad of a teenage boy. Saving his son was all that mattered."

He further lauded Dylan Sprouse, remarking, "And Dylan Sprouse is just an enormous talent whose character is so layered that we actually can sympathize with this serial killer at times."
