EXCLUSIVE: ‘Four More Shots Please!’ Unveils Final Season Release Date on Prime Video!

Prime Video has officially announced December 19 as the global premiere date for the highly anticipated final season of its International Emmy-nominated original series, “Four More Shots Please!“ This acclaimed Indian series, which has garnered significant viewership to become one of the streamer’s most-watched originals, is set to conclude its successful run just in time for the holiday season.
The finale brings back the beloved core quartet, featuring Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J, and Maanvi Gagroo, who will reprise their roles as the four central characters navigating the complexities of friendship, romance, and personal challenges. They will be joined by other returning cast members, including Prateik Smita Patil, Milind Soman, Rajeev Siddhartha, Lisa Ray, and Ankur Rathee. Additionally, the final season introduces new faces to the cast, with Dino Morea, Anasuya Sengupta, and Kunaal Roy Kapur making their debut in the series.
Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, the final season of “Four More Shots Please!” is the brainchild of Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, who are credited as its creators. The series was developed and written by Devika Bhagat, with dialogues penned by Ishita Moitra. The directorial responsibilities for this concluding season were handled by Arunima Sharma and Neha Parti Matiyani.
As the series culminates, the show's central characters—Damini, Umang, Anjana, and Siddhi—return with what Prime Video describes as “the mother of all pacts,” promising a dramatic and fitting conclusion to their journey. Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Prime Video India, highlighted the show’s groundbreaking impact, stating, “‘Four More Shots Please!’ is the OG series that sparked vital conversations, inspired countless viewers and pushed the boundaries of what female-led storytelling can be.” He further emphasized the show's universal appeal, noting its unapologetic honesty and vibrant characters resonated across India and globally.
Rangita Pritish Nandy, President and Creative Director at Pritish Nandy Communications, shared her perspective on the series' genesis and evolution. She stated that the show was born from a desire to portray women authentically, as “wildly ambitious and fiercely loyal,” rather than conforming to societal expectations. Nandy expressed pride in seeing Damini, Umang, Anjana, and Siddhi evolve into icons for a generation grappling with life's intricacies, affirming that “This finale is the crescendo of that journey.”
Pritish Nandy Communications boasts a diverse portfolio of successful productions, including theatrical releases such as “Kaante,” “Chameli,” and “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.” Their ventures into streaming originals include the Prime Video anthology “Modern Love Mumbai” and “The Royals” for Netflix, showcasing their continued presence in the entertainment landscape.
