There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Euroleague. The round was exceptionally exciting as four games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Turkish Fenerbahce (22-11) in Istanbul on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked Spanish FC Barcelona (19-14)

83-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fenerbahce. Barca looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Fenerbahce helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American Jabari Parker (203-1995, college: Duke) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Joel Parra (202-2000) contributed with 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Nigel Hayes-Davis (203-1994, college: Wisconsin) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds for Fenerbahce. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Barca moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending Turkish champion Fenerbahce dropped to the second position with 11 games lost. Barca is looking forward to face Virtus (#17) in Bologna in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Fenerbahce will play on the road against Bayern (#6) in Muenchen and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game for Greek Panathinaikos (21-12) which played on the court of 3rd placed French Monaco (20-13). Fourth ranked Panathinaikos had an easy win 88-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Monaco. American Kendrick Nunn (194-1995, college: Oakland) stepped up and scored 37 points (!!!) and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and Jerian Grant chipped in 14 points. The best for the losing side was German power forward Daniel Theis (205-1992) with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending Greek champion moved-up to third place. Defending French champion Monaco dropped to the fourth position with 13 games lost. Panathinaikos will play against Crvena zvezda (#9) in Beograd in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Monaco will play on the road against ASVEL (#15) in Villeurbanne and hopes to get back on the winning track.
One of the most interesting games of round 33 was a derby match between two teams from Italy. Seventeenth ranked Virtus Bologna outleveled visiting Armani Milano (16-17) 90-70. Tornike Shengelia nailed 14 points for the winning side. Zach LeDay came up with 19 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for Milano in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Virtus maintains seventeenth place with 9-24 record. Milano lost fourth consecutive game. Defending Italian champion keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with Partizan. Virtus will meet higher ranked Barca (#8) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Milano will play against Baskonia and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 33: Partizan was beaten by Zalgiris on the road 70-66. M.Tel-Aviv won against Bayern on its own court 93-90. Paris unfortunately lost to Real Madrid in a road game 104-105. Bottom-ranked ALBA recorded a loss to Olympiacos at home 92-100. Anadolu Efes defeated Crvena zvezda on the opponent's court 97-96. Baskonia smashed ASVEL in a home game 111-75.
The most impressive performance of 33th round was 16 points by Matt Morgan of Virtus BO.

Fenerbahce - Barca 75-83
