As we gear up for—the premier electronic music festival in North America—exciting opportunities abound. We had a fantastic chat with , the at SiriusXM, who shared insights about the week ahead. If you’re heading to Miami for Music Week or thedon’t miss out on the chance to participate in captivating audience events that will make your experience unforgettable. This is your chance to immerse yourself in the heart of electronic music culture—don’t miss out! Here’s an exclusive preview of our chat with SiriusXM as we anticipate an incredible Miami Music Week.

Hi! Each year we try to do up close and personal performances from DJs and usually an interview is included in that. It’s all curated by real humans. This year we are super excited to have a take over on one of the channels by LP Giobbi and her crew. We also just secured Major Lazer to do an event in our studios with all three members. We have a couple major names that are a surprise and can’t be announced until they are on. There are probably another 20 performances and maybe more with interviews as well.

I didn’t realize how fast it flew by until the pandemic when Music Week didn’t happen. We had to do a virtual version of Ultra Music Festival on air. Right after that, I realized how much I missed it. And I must say it’s blown by even faster since then.

We don’t have a partnership with Ultra this year. However, since we opened up our Miami Studios, I think a little less than three years ago, we’ve focused on having artists come by here. Prior to that, we had our own parties at the W or the 1 Hotel. With the studios we really wanted to capitalize on being right there on the beach amongst all the parties and having artists come by.

We always want our fans there. So you can just follow us at SiriusXM socials, to sign up, where we solicit for people, listeners, and subscribers to enter. A drop-down pops up where they can enter and put their names for various shows. There is also a slot where they can write in what they want to attend if they don’t see what they like. The placement is limited because we try to keep the experience intimate. It’s something you really couldn’t get anywhere else. It’s almost like Boiler Room style but even more intimate than that. It’s 50 people or less.

Yes we do! Being that is Mr 305’s channel, they always have a strong presence during Miami Music Week. It’s not just on the Latin side, it’s a little bit of everything on this channel, which is great for everybody. It is great for listeners and I love the fact that we can share the across the platform with other channels.

I just got off an internal discussion about this. I feel like the rave house style is about to blow up. It’s going to be the sound of summer. The jigitz track tell you straight, big party banger and will pop up in a lot of sets.

Anything Black Book with , I am loving that sound. Chris I feel like is one of the best to ever do it. And probably didn’t get enough credit and now is finally getting the credit where it’s due. So I am super excited about anything Chris Lake. And of courseHe’s just a mammoth. We do internal research and nobody’s been bigger for the last three years than John Summit. And he can probably form his own religion in Miami at this point.

Yeah, as a local in Miami that party sold out pretty much instantly.

Also anything does, I just love. Her vibe of women empowerment, it’s definitely an area over the years that was lacking in electronic music and she really kicked the door down. And done a great job for herself and women DJs in general.

It’s been really interesting to see the growth of female DJs in the scene, especially when you see the house and techno world, where they have a very healthy representation. They’re killing it.

Years ago you could go to an event, there would not be one female DJ. It’s exciting years later it is finally happening. It’s not forced, it’s legitimately earned and it’s exciting to see that side of the industry that was aligned unfairly.

I’ve seen many times over the years and we have a channel with him. But if there is anybody who loves the culture of music and dance music in general it’s that guy. And he is so smart with catering to whatever audience he has, whether it’s a daytime pool party, a nighttime party and you know a four in the morning. He is just a genius music curator. I’ve learned over the years from how important it is to him and how active he is with the channel. He’s got great people around him, but he himself is amazing at curating the channel and a day or night party. I’ve seen that over the years, I’ve seen him go from Open format DJing to specific styles to performing at Coachella and doing EDM and country style music.

But also legends like , who year over year seem to reinvent themselves. , who you’d think by now is tired of playing Ultra. But he’s not. It’s such an important event, you touched on it earlier how every year this is sort of the beginning. And it’s exciting for me as a music lover and a dance music fan? What’s going to be big? I touched upon jigitz earlier but years ago, seeing at Ultra perform a and I remember the look on people’s faces.. “wait what’s this? I have no idea what it is and it grew and it worked. So it’s just a matter of some artists having the guts to go up on stage and be a little different.

Our studio is street level, its right across the 1 Hotel, you can’t miss it. There is a big SiriusXM on the building, and that’s where our big party will be pumping. Thanks all!
