Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant make their first appearance in the Alamo City

Published 8 hours ago2 minute read

Yesterday, the San Antonio Spurs introduced 2025 draft members Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant as the newest members to a team that promises to make waves.

On Thursday night, Spurs GM Brian Wright described Dylan Harper as “down-to-earth” with a rare combination of “confidence with humility.” Additionally, he stated that “he wants to be part of a group, he wants to be part of a team, he’s willing to sacrifice, he’s willing to work for it.”

The Spurs were keen on Carter Bryant from the get-go, Wright adding that he was “high on our board,” describing his game as “super versatile...a big wing who we think can guard four positions...spaces the floor well...a really good athlete.”

Saturday, the press had their first chance to see how Harper and Bryant felt about being drafted to the Spurs.

Bryant went first and spoke about his heritage, his love and respect of the deaf community, and how the eight-year-old version of himself could geek out on his present state.

Dylan Harper took to the stage and revealed a mix of eloquence and unloving youthful vigor.

The players then went to greet fans in The Rock at La Cantera plaza before making an appearance at a Spurs basketball camp.
