Dua Lipa's Daring Moves: Pop Star Teams Up With Fiancé Callum Turner On New Business Venture & Album

The world of entertainment is buzzing with new ventures, personal milestones, and creative collaborations spanning music, film, and fashion. At the forefront, chart-topping singer Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner, a prominent power couple, are embarking on a significant business venture together. They have officially established a movie production company named TwentyTwo Films Limited, holding equal shares. The firm’s stated nature of business is "motion picture and television programme production activities," signaling their ambitious plans to carve out a niche in the film industry.

This move draws parallels to the success of Margot Robbie and her husbandTom Ackerley’s LuckyChap production company, known for hits likeI, Tonya, Saltburn, and Barbie, in which Dua Lipa herself had a role. Sources indicate that both Dua and Callum are highly ambitious and have numerous joint ventures in mind, with Dua particularly keen on gaining greater creative control over future film projects. While it is still in its nascent stages, the groundwork for their production company is firmly in place. Meanwhile, Callum Turner continues to expand his acting portfolio, with upcoming roles in the rom-com One Night Only, the thriller Rosebush Pruning (both expected next year), and the Apple TV series Neuromancer, which began filming in January.

Dua Lipa's creative endeavors extend beyond film production into her music. The singer, who recently kicked off the North American leg of her world tour in Toronto, has been back in the studio collaborating with acclaimed DJ and producer Mark Ronson. This marks their third collaboration, following the success of "Electricity" and "Dance The Night." Insiders reveal that Dua has made a handful of tracks with Ronson, with her songwriting reportedly influenced by finally finding "The One" in Callum Turner. Mark Ronson himself commented on this "new era" for Dua, describing her emotional delivery of new songs as a woman, indicating a significant evolution in her artistry as a songwriter, singer, and human being.

The celebrity wedding circuit also provides exciting news. Selena Gomezrecently celebrated her hen do in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, though notable friends Taylor Swift and Nicola Peltz were not present in the shared snaps; Taylor reportedly had a separate celebration. Her fiancé, music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, enjoyed his stag do in Las Vegas, complete with fancy meals and a spa day. Despite Blanco's earlier insistence that no date was set, all signs, including an accidental reveal by Ed Sheeran in May about receiving an invite, point to a wedding next month.

Adding to the marital news, Kick-Ass actress Chloe Grace Moretz tied the knot with model Kate Harrison at the weekend, seven years after her split from Brooklyn Beckham. The couple, who confirmed their engagement on New Year's Day, chose a non-traditional blue Louis Vuitton wedding dress for Chloe, reflecting her desire for something unique. Another high-profile engagement involves American footballer Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift, with Travis's brother Jason Kelce, a retired NFL player, already making a playful bid to be the best man. Jason and Travis co-host the popular "New Heights" podcast, which Taylor famously used to announce her new album, The Life Of A Showgirl, last month, bolstering Jason's chances for the coveted role.

In music video news, Ed Sheeran has enlisted Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor to be his love interest in his next video. The superstar, whose album Play is due in a fortnight, filmed scenes last week on a beach on the Croatian island of Hvar and in nearby Split. Dynevor later made a surprise appearance on stage during Sheeran's Stockholm gig, where they filmed themselves for the track titled "Camera." The romantic song, penned about his wife Cherry, features poignant lyrics such as, “I’ll remember how you look tonight for all my life. When everything is black and white, your colours exploding, there’s something in the way you shine. I don’t need a camera when you’re in my eyes.”

Tour announcements are also generating excitement. Anastacia is set to play eight dates across the UK and Ireland in September 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of her debut album Not That Kind and including a return to London’s Wembley Arena for the first time since 2004. Similarly, Florence + The Machine will embark on an arena tour across the UK in February next year, following the October release of their sixth album, Everybody Scream. Veteran rocker Sir Rod Stewart, following his acclaimed performance at Glastonbury, is considering a potential UK tour within the next decade, stating his desire to perform in the UK before he reaches 90.
